This week we held our Harvest Festival. We invited along family, friends and Father Michael to watch our Festival. The children performed songs, wrote and read their poems and tolds us lots of interesting facts about Autumn.
The children brought in a lovely range of fruit and vegetables, most of which (they told us with pride) had been grown by members of their families.
As well as donating food and vegetables our children also raised over £100 for the 'Seeds for Africa ' appeal.
The donated food was distributed to the local pensioners in our village.
The school also raised approximately £75 from teas and coffees and raffles. This money will go towards our children's christmas parties. Mr Craig and the staff of Trimdon Junior school would like to say a big thank you to all our visitors and we hoped you enjoyed the children's performances.
