Aspects of Christmas
Our Christmas play this year was called Aspects of Christmas. There were 5 main characters in the park talking about their thoughts and memories of Christmas and 5 scenes showing various parts of Christmas day. Each class acted a different scene with all the children joining in the songs.
Scene 1 was about a family putting up their Christmas decorations. This scene was performed by class 1.
Scene 2 told the story of Christmas Eve, children excited and can't sleep, parents having friends round for a Christmas drink. This scence was performed by the children from class 2.
Scene 3 was a family all enjoying their Christmas dinner. Mam wouldn't eat any Christmas dinner because she was on a diet but then kept sneaking food once the family were out of the way. This scene was performed by class 5.
Scene 4 was a look back to a Christmas in the 1970s, this scene was performed by children from class 3.
The final scene was performed by children from class 4. This scene was all about Christmas evening.
The final song was called 'Party On'. All the children danced as they sang this song.
