Trimdon Junior SchoolOther ActivitiesAnti-Bullying WeekTrimdon Junior school held lots of different activities during Anti-Bullying week. We had special assemblies (Buddy came to to visit us along with Gillian Seymour from the Anti- Bullying Service). A play by a professional theatre company help the children understand what it is like to be bullied plus competitions were held in school to design a poster on how to be a good friend. We also asked the children to bring slippers into school to wear for a day as part of the 'De Feet' bullying day. Science PlayThe Kinetic Science company visited our school for a science production. This year the focus of the play was time, space and light. The children used this experience to help them with their understanding of science. In addition to this they used the event as a topic to write newspaper reports and recounts on in literacy. |
